Are you looking for a way to incorporate the many health benefits of turmeric into your daily life? If so, I have just the beverage for you. It’s a turmeric latte, often lovingly called “golden milk.”But wait, could anything with “latte” in the title actually be healthy? In this case, it’s a definite “yes!” The benefits of turmeric range from improving heart health to discouraging cancer. Turmeric also provides significant anti-inflammatory effects that can benefit such a wide variety of health concerns since inflammation is at the root of most diseases. ( 1 )A turmeric latte or turmeric milk always requires two essential ingredients: turmeric and some type of milk. You’re probably wondering what other ingredients go into this healthy elixir. Well, I’m basically taking my Turmeric Tea Recipe to new heights with even more health-boosting ingredients like cordyceps, reishi and ashwagandha .Turmeric ( Curcuma longa) is a relative of ginger and an absolute powerhouse when it comes to health. Turmeric contains a potent antioxidant called curcumin. Not only does curcumin give turmeric (and a turmeric latte) its bright color, it’s also one of the reasons why turmeric is such a healthy spice.
Last year I went on a turmeric tea kick (thanks, Heidi!). You can see the base for it in this Turmeric Toddy recipe. I had a cup of the non boozy version every afternoon for a month straight. This year I tried the Turmeric Latte from Nutrition Stripped and was instantly hooked.Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory power spice. When it’s paired with warm almond milk, coconut oil, honey, and cinnamon, pure magic happens. For the past three weeks I’ve been enjoying a cup in the afternoon when I’m feeling particularly crunchy/tired and in need of something sweet. The fat from the coconut oil helps satisfy me until dinner- something I thought was absolutely impossible.Mix almond milk and coconut oil in a small saucepan and simmer over the stove until warmed through, about 6-8 minutes. Whisk in honey, turmeric, cinnamon and salt. Stir until mixture is frothy and serve. Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon. This sounds delicious. I’ve been adding turmeric to a lot of my dishes lately, from canned soup to eggs. I believe to get the full anti-inflammatory benefit of turmeric (curcumin) you need to add some black pepper, too.

The term as used in English is a shortened form of the Italian caffè latte [kafˌfɛ lˈlatte] , caffelatte [kaffeˈlatte] or caffellatte [kaffelˈlatte] , which means milk coffee. The word is also sometimes spelled latté or lattè in English with different kinds of accent marks, which can be a hyperforeignism or a deliberate attempt to indicate that the word is not pronounced according to the rules of English orthography .In northern Europe and Scandinavia the term café au lait has traditionally been used for the combination of espresso and milk. In France , caffè latte is mostly known from the original Italian name of the drink (caffè latte or caffelatte); a combination of espresso and steamed milk equivalent to a latte is in French called grand crème and in German Milchkaffee or (in Austria) Wiener Melange .Variants include replacing the coffee with another drink base such as masala chai (spiced Indian tea), mate , matcha , turmeric, or rooibos and other types of milk, such as soy milk or almond milk are also used.Coffee and milk have been part of European cuisine since the 17th century . Caffè latte , Milchkaffee , café au lait and café con leche are domestic terms of traditional ways of drinking coffee, usually as part of breakfast in the home. Public cafés in Europe and the US it seems have no mention of the terms until the 20th century, although Kapuziner is mentioned in Austrian coffee houses in Vienna and Trieste in the 2nd half of 1700s as coffee with cream, spices and sugar (being the origin of the Italian cappuccino ).

Coral brings out the radiance in her cheeks and lips. Salmon has some warmth and Fuchsia has great contrast, but neither are as harmonious as the first autumn option. The baby pink leaves her looking lifeless and wan.I hope you do more of these videos for all the seasons – they really help you understand what colors help you look your best! I generally struggle knowing exactly where I fit, but these help narrow it down! I’d love to see a video with a Light, Soft and Clear Spring to figure out how each is different as far as what looks best on them. Great job.I was wondering how you feel about the 16 color season system. I feel weird because I don’t feel like I fit. I have warm eyes and cool skin and hair. I think I might be a little too OCD about the whole thing.Could you do These for men too?
I am an Colour Analyst too , but just started out and sometimes miss some showing material for especially draped men. These videos seem helpful to demonstrate clients what I mean.
